How can I enjoy treats and stay healthy?

Well recently I’ve been feeling great because I’m fitter and healthier because I’ve done more exercise and I haven’t eaten the following foods in over a month:

burgers, chips, chocolate (all kinds), lollies, coffee, coke, lemonade (all those kind of drinks), cake, any kind of pastry, and probably a few other things. basically nothing sweet or full of fat. Although I definitely feel healthier, I guess I can’t not eat any of this stuff my whole life. How can I remain healthy but still enjoy treats occasionally?

You do not have to totally deprive yourself of all treats, instead of eating an entire serving of something you like, try taking one or two bites and then put it away. It will be too difficult to deprive yourself forever. Allow for the calories in whatever treat you choose and either exercise enough to burn up those calories or reduce your intake of other foods.

Tips on how to wake up healthy in the mornings?

I notice I wake up every morning so tired. Sometimes my muscles even hurt.

I just want to feel energized and ready to ‘tackle’ the real world when I wake up, instead of looking dull and ponderous.

I’m 16 years old — I go to bed around 11.30-12.00 and wake up 7.45am on school mornings and basically sleep in until 10.00am on holidays (which are now).

I need some tips to make me feel healthy and not tired.

Cheers.

Here’s a nice article I’ve came across that may be handy for you, hope it helps.

Are you one of those people who wake up in the morning still feeling sluggish and tired? I think most people will be able to relate to you. I know I used to feel this way all of the time. Not anymore. Would you like to know how I stopped feeling this way? Then keep reading.

Here are 5 Simple Tips That Will Have You Waking Up With More Energy

1. Go to bed earlier. This may sound simple and like a duh statement, but most people keep staying up late and wondering why they still feel tired in the morning. Turn off the T.V. and go to bed, silly.

2. Drink water before you go to bed. Dry heat especially this time of year can slowly dehydrate your body. When you feel dehydrated, you have less energy. Drink a glass or two of water within an hour of bedtime and you won’t feel so thirsty in the morning

3. Eat a nutritious breakfast. How are you going to feel full of energy if you skip breakfast or fill up on junk in the morning. Eat some fruit and protein and skip out on the sugary stuff. That way you don’t crash from the sugar high a couple of hours later.

4. Exercise. Do a couple of simple exercises to get your blood and energy flowing. Jog in place or stretch for a few minutes. You don’t have to do a full head on 30 minutes with weights or anything like that. Just get your body moving.

5. Live with passion. Why? If you are motivated to start your day because you are living with passion, you will find it easy to shrug off any bit of sluggishness that you feel. Get yourself excited about each day.

These are just five of the things that have worked for me. Try each one out for a couple of weeks and see how much better you feel.

I’ve been really stressed out this week, eating like a maniac, how can I feel healthy again?

I am leaving the country next week, and the past month, I’ve been eating a ton of junk (out of stress). I’ve put on about 10lbs. My face has been breaking out and I normally have porcelain skin.

Are there any ways to start to feel a little healthier this week? I feel bloated and sluggish. What are some foods I should steer to in order to feel good before I leave?

The best thing you can do is drink a lot of water. I’m assuming you ate a lot of processed foods, which are high in salt. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water a day to flush out the salt and other toxins. Drinking green tea is also good as it will induce bowel movements. Make sure you exercise everyday for at least one hour (moderate intensity) before you leave.

what is the best way to get clear, healthy looking and feeling skin?

i break out about once or twice every two weeks around the T zone of my face. a lot of the breakouts are triggered by menstruation, but some aren’t. i have relatively dry cheeks. i get under the skin pimples that are painful but are not able to be popped and are barely seen. help?
any systems you recommend are helpful

Avoid dairy as much as possible, keep eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, avoid deep fried foods. Body ph is the main reason why acne exists. Hawaiians have the most beautiful skin in the world, so do philipinos. THis is because of air quality and diet. Anyone who says elsewise is trying to sell you something. Heal from within……..

How can i make my hair feel healthy?

I have thin blond hair and it just doesn’t feel healthy. I cant pull it up into a ponytail without using a brush and it can’t stay strait/curly for more than half a day. it sometimes feels smooth in random places but it never feels like i can just run my fingers through it. It’s not too knotty and not exactly frizzy. Is there some way i can make it feel healthy and natural?? some sort of conditioner or treatment? I’ve tried a lot of combinations but nothing has worked.

Treseme salon silk shampoo and conditioner!
Ive noticed such a big difference since ive been using these! And i use a treseme heat defence spray that makes my hair really really soft! You might want a detangler spray or something ? (:

hope i helped!

Why would feeling again repressed Anger be healthy?

is this catharsis or hypnosis that is involved in this case?

how affects person during and after process?

Repressed means you are not really aware of it yourself, eg’ some people wiill say they feel ill or have a headache rather than admit they want to be very angry. Suppressed means you are aware of it but intentionally not showing it.

I guess it would be good to acknowledge repressed anger because until put my hand up to it, there is little I can do to change it. I don’t see any harm in suppressing anger that I have acknowledged and taken responsibility for. A lot of people would lose their jobs if they expressed their anger every time they felt it.

I would agree there is a healthy type of anger and an unhealthy type of anger. In healthy anger I acknowledge the negativity but keep it in perspective by not exaggerating how bad it is and by not totaly condemning the guilty party. In unhealthy anger I do become rigid, absolutistic and extreme and I do condemn the guilty persons entirety on the basis of a partial offence.

Intellectually knowing these things is often in advance of being them…
